2024 NLSSA Annual Training Conference

The National Legislative Services and Security Association (NLSSA) is hosting its annual training conference in Boise, Idaho, Sept. 29 to Oct. 4.

This conference brings together U.S. and international participants to learn important skills and procedures, build relationships and take away new tools and ideas to enhance the effectiveness of state legislatures.

The Inn at 500 Capitol is located about 4 miles (or 10 minutes) from Boise Airport (BOI). Complimentary airport shuttle and transportation is available within a 5-mile radius of the hotel for overnight guests. Complimentary snacks and nonalcoholic refreshments are available to guests through their stay.

Current Update on Arriving Early
Due to the Boise State University football game occurring on Saturday, Sept. 28, the Inn at 500 requires a two-night minimum for Friday and Saturday nights at $345. If Friday is not an option for your needs, there are rooms for Saturday night only available at the Hampton Inn. It's located directly across the street at 495 S Capitol Blvd. Boise, ID 83702. You must first log in to the NCSL website. The Legislative Staff ticket type field will contain the “bill to state” link. On the next page, choose from the list of legislative staff in your state and fill out the billing information. Then click “Register selected contacts” from the top of the page.
