Civic Learning Week Toolkit

Education

Civic Learning Week, hosted annually by iCivics, was first established in 2023 with a goal to highlight the importance of civic education to the United States’ constitutional democracy. Engaging educators, students and community members alike, the weeklong celebration includes a variety of events that spotlight state and local initiatives as well as a national forum to elevate experts in the field and discuss emerging research.

This toolkit provides a variety of NCSL and partner resources that detail the current landscape in civic education policy and ways to engage with Civic Learning Week.
