Louisiana Senator Yvonne Colomb, South Dakota Representative Kristin Conzet (Immediate Past President of NCSL’s Women’s Legislative Network) and Mississippi Senator Sally Doty at NCSL's Southeastern Women’s Leadership SeminarThe Women’s Legislative Network is seeking nominees for the fourth annual Women in Politics Making a Difference Awards.

The network will select and profile four women who are proud legislators and active stewards of their communities.

The honorees will be women who are “making a difference” in ways large and small: championing a landmark bill, helping a constituent in a time of need, raising awareness about an issue or mentoring those around them.

Please tell us about a legislator who inspires you and nominate her today. Nominations will be accepted through Friday, and we will announce the winners this summer.

Sarah Settle is staff coordinator for the NCSL Foundation and Member Outreach.
