The PentagonWashington, D.C.—President Donald Trump’s emergency declaration to build a border wall could affect up to $3.6 billion in military construction funds, known as MILCON,  intended to be used for military readiness, housing and other projects in states.

After requesting more detailed information several weeks ago, lawmakers in both the House and Senate received the list of potential projects that could be affected by Acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan on March 18.

The total compilation of initiatives that could be affected amounts to $12.9 billion and represent projects that are approved and appropriated by Congress but not yet contracted out by the Department of Defense (DOD).

You can read the full list from the DOD.
