The talents of Colorado reading clerks Andrew Carpenter (Senate) and Connor Randall (House) were recently highlighted on Colorado Public Radio.

Andrew Carpenter, left, is the state Senate reading clerk. Connor Randall, right, is the House reading clerk. They were photographed in the state House chamber.  (Vic Vela/CPR News Not only can they read bills at an incredibly fast pace, but they also do quite a bit to keep things running in the House and Senate, acting as the “emcees” of the General Assembly.
