Photo of Santa FePlease join us for the spring meeting of the NCSL Executive Committee, the Legislative Staff Coordinating Committee and Executive Committee Task Forces for the 2016-17 conference year.

The meeting will be held April 20-22 in Santa Fe, N.M., at Hotel Santa Fe. The preliminary agenda lists the Executive Committee, LSCC and task force meetings.

Please check back often and refer carefully to the most current agenda (see above) and following guidelines when planning your travel.

Registration

Registration Information Requires a credit card for those who are required to pay a fee. Confirmations will be sent by email. Deadline to register online is Thursday, April 13. After this date, you may register on-site.

Free for NCSL Foundation for State Legislatures Platinum, Gold and Silver level sponsors
Free for first adult guest registered
$300 for all other attendees

Cancellations received in the NCSL Denver office will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations must be made in writing and faxed to 303-364-7800. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled after the conference begins.

The negotiated group rate for Santa Fe Suites and Traditional rooms are as follows:
Single occupancy: $149 (plus 15.313% taxes/fees)
Double occupancy: $149 (plus 15.313% taxes/fees)
Triple occupancy: $174 (plus 15.313% taxes/fees)
Quadruple occupancy: $199 (plus 15.313% taxes/fees)

There are extremely limited Hacienda Rooms available. The rates for those are $199.

Check in time is 4 p.m. and check out time is 2 p.m.

 A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold each individual’s reservation and the deposit will be refunded if room is cancelled two days prior to arrival.

The deadline to book housing is Wednesday, March 29. To ensure availability at the negotiated group rate, please book before this date.

Each attendee is responsible for making his or her hotel and travel arrangements.

Reservation Cancellation Policy
Reservations must be cancelled two days (48 hours) in advance of check-in in order to receive a refund of the deposit (equal to one night’s stay + tax).  A cancellation number must also be obtained.

If arranging hotel accommodations by phone, please indicate that you are attending the NCSL Executive Committee meeting to receive the negotiated rate.

Santa Fe is served by both Albuquerque International Sunport and the Santa Fe Municipal Airport

Ground transportationThe Hotel Santa Fe is located about an hour from Albuquerque International Sunport. The New Mexico Rail Runner is a convenient and affordable way to get from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. Other options, including the Sandia Shuttle can be found online at the Albuquerque International Sunport website. Flights are also available to the Santa Fe Municipal Airport. The Road Runner Shuttle service located inside the terminal can provide transporation to The Hotel Santa Fe. Other options are available online at the Santa Fe Municipal Airport website.

The New Mexico Rail Runner and the Sandia Shuttle both stop across the street from the Hotel Santa Fe.
