Alternative Vehicles and Fuels: An Update on Federal and Private Efforts

While gasoline and diesel fuel are still far and away the number one source of fuel for vehicle transportation, the market is beginning to see the emergence of new alternative fuel vehicles including natural gas, electricity, and other flex-fuel vehicles  Representatives from the federal government and private sector will discuss the latest programs that are underway to develop and deploy alternatives to petroleum-derived motor fuels and the vehicles that run on them as well as what policies would be helpful in moving these vehicles forward.
