Task Force on Energy Supply

Mission

Ensuring a long-term, affordable and stable energy supply has been a top concern of state policymakers. Decision makers, in determining energy policy, are confronting the challenge of reducing foreign dependence on energy and utilizing domestic energy supplies in a way that supports the economy while addressing environmental concerns. The Task Force on Energy Supply will explore the issues and opportunities that policymakers face as they shape energy policies to increase the use of national energy resources in a stable, reliable and economically viable manner.
