The 2008 Trade Policy Leadership Seminar (TPLS) will be held December 10-11 at the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta. This year's seminar will touch on all the pressing trade issues of interest to states today, including the U.S.-Chinese trade relationship, the anticipated trade agenda of the newly-elected President and Congress, and strategies for trade-based growth in a time of global financial turbulence. Session descriptions are available on the preliminary detailed agenda.
As in years previous, this year's TPLS program will be open to state government officials in all branches who wish to discuss today's international trade issues and learn their state policy implications. Registrants are asked to fill out the appropriate form (see column at right) depending on if they are registering for the whole meeting or just the pre-conference.
