COME TO THE SPRING FORUM Get the latest information on federal activity and the impacts on states'; find out how your colleagues in other states are coping with tight budgets and other challenging issues; network with legislators and legislative staff from around the country.

ANNOUNCING NCSL'S NEW, IMPROVED STANDING COMMITTEES The 2003 Spring Forum is the first meeting of NCSL's new committee structure. Fifteen new committees replace the Assembly on Federal Issues and the Assembly on State Issues. The committees will consider both the state and federal angle on issues. They promise to make NCSL an even more formidable force in Washington, D.C. and an even more creative forum for information exchange and policy creativity for state legislators and legislative staff.

NCSL's NEW STANDING COMMITTEES

EVERYONE IS WELCOME
Whether you are a legislator or legislative staff, whether you have been appointed to one of the new Standing Committees, whether you are a member of an old AFI or ASI committee, or whether you are simply interested in these state and federal issues, you are welcome to participate in this meeting.

APPOINTMENTS
Presiding officers and staff directors are currently making appointments to the new standing committees. Check with them if you are interested in serving on a committee or if you are interested in attending this forum.
