P3 Legislative Update: 2016-2018

Public-private partnerships (P3s) are a focus for many state lawmakers across the country as states tackle the increasing demand for updated and new infrastructure facilities. This report focuses on enacted state P3 legislation between 2016 and 2018 and is intended to be an update to existing NCSL resources that catalog the state enabling statutes for P3s.

Traffic Safety Trends 2018

n 2018, state legislators debated nearly 2,300 traffic safety bills. Hot topics included child passenger safety, older drivers, seat belts on school buses, and pedestrian and bicyclist safety, according to a report released by NCSL.
