A Cornerstone of the Foster Care System: Foster Families

With the rise of children and youth entering the foster care system, many states are experiencing a shortage of foster care families capable of meeting the growing need. Foster families serve a vital role as advocates for children and the system. As a result, it is important that states and legislators are knowledgeable about strategies for recruiting and retaining these advocates and maintaining a strong group of foster families. Join us and our first class of Child Welfare Fellows as we discuss this important topic.
