Budget Status in the States

Forty-six states begin fiscal year (FY) 2015 on July 1, 2014. As of April 23, 28 states have enacted budgets for FY 2015. Sixteen of which enacted a biennial budget during the 2013 legislative session. NCSL will update the map and table below as states enact FY 2015 budgets.
