a collage of photos The Fiscal Leaders Seminar is NCSL's premier meeting on state budget and tax issues. The seminar will provide state legislators and senior legislative staff with the latest information to address state fiscal challenges. Meeting topics will include a US. economic outlook, state and federal budget updates, the "Cadillac Tax," economic impacts of legal immigration, higher education funding, changes in GASB requirements and how states are adapting to demographic changes in their tax base.

This meeting is made possible through the generous support of The Pew Charitable Trusts.

Registration Information Registration is free

NCSL will provide a limited number of stipends to cover coach airfare (up to $450), two nights of lodging at the JW Marriott New Orleans, and four meals as part of the meeting.

Registration Deadline

The registration deadline is Oct. 27.

We ask individuals accepting stipends to attend the entire meeting. We will make a hotel reservation for you for the nights of Wednesday, Dec. 2 and Thursday, Dec. 3. NCSL will directly pay for two nights of your hotel stay.
