Food and Farm Issues Forecast with Featured Speaker: Congressman Charlie Stenholm, Former Member U.S. House of Representatives (TX-17) and Senior Government Affairs Advisor, Olsson, Frank and Weeda, P.C.

The Federal Government’s work in agriculture and food policy is important to state legislatures as they work on these issues on the state level. Join us as we examine the prospects for the 2012 reauthorization of the Farm Bill especially in light of tight federal and state budgets. Hear what to expect from Congress and the Administration on food and farm issues including rural development programs as well as SNAP and related food assistance programs.

We thank ADM for their generous sponsorship of this event.

NOTE: To make sure we have an accurate count of attendees, please RSVP to Max Behlke (max.behlke@ncsl.org or 202-624-3586)
