National Transportation Stakeholders Forum LogoThe 2019 meeting of the National Transportation Stakeholders Forum (NTSF) is being hosted by the Tribal Radioactive Materials Transportation Committee (TRMTC) and will bring together representatives from federal agencies, tribes, states, local governments, and industry to discuss issues related to the safe transportation of radioactive waste.

As in previous years, the State Regional Groups and TRMTC will hold meetings in conjunction with the 2019 NTSF Annual Meeting. TRANSCOM training opportunities will also be offered. The 2019 Annual Meeting will present attendees with ways to advance their expertise related to shipments by rail and by truck, new technologies, and cross-jurisdiction coordination.

If you have attended TRMTC meetings in the past, your User Name will be the email address that we have on file for you. If you have not attended a TRMTC meeting previously, you will need to create an account. Deadline to register is May 10, 2019.

Cancellations must be emailed to Kim.Tyrrell@ncsl.org  on or/before 5 p.m., June 3, 2019. The full meeting registration fee will be refunded if your cancellation is received in writing by 5 pm on Monday, June 3, 2019. PLEASE NOTE: Cancellations received after June 3, as well as those who do not show up for the meeting, will be charged full registration. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations canceled after the conference begins. Please note: The Westin Hotel cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to arrival. Contact the hotel directly to cancel your hotel stay.

Reference: NTSF 2019  Rate: $209. Hotel rate is available until May 10, 2019, or until rooms sell out, whichever comes first. Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel and travel arrangements.

The Westin Crystal City is located 1.4 miles from Reagan National Airport (DCA). 

 

Ground Transportation

Shuttle: The Westin Crystal City has a free shuttle available for overnight guests. Upon arrival go to Terminal B Departure level and depart from Door 3. The shuttle runs approximately every 30 minutes.

Taxi: From Terminal A, proceed out the exit doors at baggage claim and turn right. The taxis are located on the curb closest to the Terminal. From Terminals B and C, proceed to the baggage claim lower level (level one). Walk indoors to Door 5, exit the doors to the curbside. You will find the taxi dispatch location clearly marked.

Ride Share: After you land and grab your bags, open your app to find your pickup zone. Please note you'll be directed to the "two-lane loading" zones across from the terminal.
