State Legislatures magazine is widely hailed as the most informative and influential state public policy monthly in the country. Like all of NCSL’s publications, state legislators and staff receive it free of charge. LegisBriefs are two-page briefing papers on current issues that can be used as backgrounders, talking papers and as information for responding to constituent requests.
