Malin Jennings offers tips to session attendees.

 

Malin Jennings, senior vice president at Fleishman-Hillard, facilitated this session and provided tips on how to become a reliable media source and deliver important messages during interviews. She also presented information about how to prepare for interviews, recognize dangers and avoid costly mistakes. More than 30 legislators attended this breakfast session.

Caucus Session

Network President Delegate Carol Petzold participated in the session and presented information about women's caucuses - specifically, her experience with the Women Legislators of Maryland, Maryland's women's caucus.  Other panelists included Senator Derek Schmidt, Senate Majority Leader, Kansas, and Assemblyman Paul Tokasz, Assembly Majority Leader, New York.  Representative Rob Eissler of Texas moderated the session.
