Session One: What happens in a motor vehicle crash?
The physics of motor vehicle crashes will be explored during this session.

Session Two: The Economic and Societal Costs of Motor Vehicle crashes.
This session will address the economic and societal costs of crashes including death or injury of family members, medical costs, loss of productivity and property damage.

This session will be used to link traffic safety and public health.

Session Three: Public Health and Injury Prevention
This session will provide the opportunity to talk about specific issues like seat belts, child safety seats, alcohol, speed as they relate to public health and injury prevention.

Doug Robertson, PhD. - University of North Carolina
Suzanne Hill - Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

Session Four: What can be done? 
This session will give attendees an opportunity to discuss examples of state laws, public education campaigns and increased law enforcement as tools to decrease injuries and fatalities from motor vehicle crashes. 30 minutes for presentations, remaining time will be spent in a facilitated discussion.
