Teen Licensing (Box lunches)

Teen drivers are more likely to be involved in fatal crashes than the rest of the general driving population. Young drivers' inexperience and risk taking contribute to the high incidence of crashes. Graduated driver licensing (GDL) is a successful approach many states are taking to address youthful risk taking and inexperience, by limiting exposure to high-risk situations and gradually phasing in the driving privilege. Safety experts will discuss the benefits of GDL and what various states have accomplished in lowering the fatal crash rates of teen drivers.
