Family Economic Success: HousingTo listen to this audio tape, you will need to install Affordable Housing--What Does the Future Hold? This tape was made during the NCSL Annual Meeting in Denver on July 22, 2002. State legislatures are increasingly acting on housing related issues as over 6,400 housing bills were introduced during the 2002 legislative sessions with more than 300 addressing affordability. Listen to this tape and learn more about the factors involved such as healthy homes, growth management and the Olmstead court decision. Speaking at this session, moderated by Mary Fairchild of NCSL, were: Conrad Egan, Millenial Housing Commission, Washington, D.C. This project is a partnership of the National Conference of State Legislatures and the Annie E. Casey Foundation. The NCSL contact is Mary Fairchild. |
