A merica's state legislatures are being noticed more by the national press. At the same time, the number of reporters covering statehouses continues to decline. State legislators are depending more on communication professionals to help promote important ideas and issues. Budgets are tight, though, and staff resources are staying the same or being reduced. For legislative staff with media relations, broadcast and civic education responsibilities, this is a critical time. There is more demand for the services you provide.
LINCS Professional Development Seminar serves as the only forum for legislative staff to discuss effective public and media relations skills and strategies. The contents has been developed for legislative staff who have public information or media relations responsibilities, including communication directors, public information officers, press secretaries and broadcast media directors and staff.
It's easy! You may register in one of the following ways.
