Registration Information

Registration for the Communications & IT Staff Professional Development Seminar and PR Boot Camp will be opening soon.

How to Register: There will be several ways to register for the Communications & IT Professional Development Seminar and PR Boot Camp.  Pre-registration deadline is August 20, 2008.

  • Online: Online registration requires payment with a credit card for everyone except legislators and legislative staff.
  • Mail:  For those wishing to pay by check, your printable registration form and payment can be sent to NCSL Registration, 7700 East First Place, Denver, CO 80230.
  • Onsite:  If you are unable to meet the August 20, 2008 pre-registration deadline, you may register on-site at the Louisville Marriott Downtown (online reservations not accepted).

Early Bird Registration - received by August 6 for legislative staff and legislators

NCSL must receive your early bird registration by August 6; NCSL must receive your pre-registration by August 20.  For legislators and legislative staff, the registration fee can be billed to the state or paid in advance or onsite.  On-site registration also is available if you are unable to register by the pre-registration deadline.

*Spouse/Family Member registration includes admission to all scheduled meal functions and evening social events as well as transportation to/from host state excursions.  NCSL cannot bill your state for Spouse/Family Member registrations.

Cancellations/Substitutions: Cancellations received in the NCSL Denver office by August 20, 2008 will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee.  Substitutions require a $25 processing fee.  Cancellation or substitution requests must be made in writing and faxed to (303) 364-7811.  Fees cannot be refunded for no-shows or registrations cancelled after the conference begins.

Confirmations:  Confirmations will be e-mailed if an e-mail address is provided.  Letter confirmations are mailed only upon request.
