Responsibilities

The Executive Committee is responsible for:

  • planning and executing a program for the annual meeting of the section, for the Section's participation in the NCSL Annual Meeting, and for all other meetings of the Section;
  • keeping the Section's membership informed of developments relating to their professional areas of interest;
  • recommending formal actions as deemed appropriate;
  • reviewing and recommending updates of the Section's Bylaws.

The Executive Committee consists of the officers of the Section and nine Directors -- eight of which are elected. Along with the Section Chair, the following members serve on the LINCS Executive Committee:
