Meagan Dorsch
Media and Public Affairs Manager, Denver
Meagan manages NCSL's media outreach efforts in Denver. Prior to joining the NCSL news team in 2007, Meagan worked as a morning television news anchor and reporter. She has worked in TV and radio newsrooms in Denver, Chicago, Iowa and South Dakota. In addition, Meagan also worked as a public and media relations manager for several non profit organizations across the Midwest. Michelle Blackston
Media and Public Affairs Director, Washington, D.C.
Michelle comes to NCSL's media outreach effort in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the NCSL in November of 2007, Michelle worked at a The Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation in Calverton, Maryland. Michelle has experience in public affairs and media relations. Michelle has also worked as a newspaper reporter and copy editor for the San Diego Union Tribune and other newspapers across the country. Michelle is a proud mother of two young daughters and her husband is an officer in the United States Navy. Michelle graduated from Creighton University in Omaha with her bachelors degree in communications and obtained her masters degree in strategic communications/leadership from Seton Hall University.
