"Strong States, Strong Nation" Media Registration Information

Strong States Strong Nation - From the state of Washington to Washington, D.C.

NCSL's "Strong States, Strong Nation" meeting will attract the nation's most respected experts on the on the most pressing issues facing state governments. Journalists who have attended the meeting in the past have raved about the story ideas and source contacts that they gain by attending the meeting. Additionally, you'll keep your editors happy by filing stories on the release of timely reports on such topics as state budget conditions and Medicaid reform proposals.

Journalists are encouraged to attend as all sessions are open to the press. There are no fees for members of the media to attend the "Strong States, Strong Nation" meeting, however, registration is required. To register, simply print, fill out and fax back the media registration form.

For the first time, NCSL and the Association of Capitol Reporters and Editors have collaborated to provide journalists with two unique opportunities in one convenient location. ACRE's Capitolbeat 2005 Conference will be held at the tail-end of NCSL's "Strong States, Strong Nation" meeting August 19 - 21.
