NCSL 2003 Annual Meeting & Exhibition
San Francisco, California, July 21 - 25, 2003
"Connecting America"
The National Conference of State Legislatures will host its 28th Annual Meeting in San Francisco, California this summer. NCSL's Annual Meeting is the premier gathering of state lawmakers each year. With more than 150 policy sessions featuring the nation's leading public policy experts, NCSL's Annual Meeting has proven itself to be a valuable resource not only for state legislators and their staff, but also the statehouse reporter.
State budgets, federal unfunded mandates, homeland security, Medicaid costs, welfare reform, transportation and streamlining sales taxes will all be featured topics at this year's meeting. Confirmed speakers include Melinda Gates, wife of Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Dr. Uwe Reinhardt, one of the nation's leading health care reform experts, and management guru Bruce Tulgin among others. Sign up for our periodic Annual Meeting e-mail updates and be the first to know when new speakers have confirmed or other program changes are made.
As always, there are no registration fees for members of the media to attend NCSL's meetings. In order to avoid lines at registration, journalists are encouraged to pre-register by completing a media registration form. You will receive credentials in the mail after your registration has been processed.
