May 2003
Homeland security issues continue to be a major focus of America's state legislatures. The events of September 11, 2001 raised new public policy issues affecting every level of government service. This Web site, created within hours after the terrorist attacks, has served as a clearinghouse of information for legislators, legislative staff, the public and the media.
As a result of new policy developments, the information on this Web site has now been combined with other important information on our new Terrorism Preparedness and Response home page.
