State Legislation

 Following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington DC, several state legislatures have addressed the terrorism issue.  Even before  the September attacks, other state legislatures had considered bills addressing terrorism. (See also the Protecting Democracy Task Force's list of state action.)
