This bill would authorize the department to enter into a contract with a federally recognized Indian tribe, for the purpose of providing emergency services on the tribe's land. The bill would require that any contract with an Indian tribe include provisions for reimbursing the department for its actual costs of providing the emergency services, plus an administrative fee.
