California
A.B. 724 This bill makes a legislative finding and declaration that the identification and remediation of the Year 2000 problem is the top priority information technology project for the state for the duration of 1999. (Signed by Governor 10/7/99)

E.O.1 This Executive Order declares that Year 2000 solutions shall be the State's top technology priority and requires each state agency to defer commencing any new non-Year 2000 computer projects that are not required by law.
