Note: It should be recognized that this is sensitive electronic equipment that should be protected from sudden impacts or power surges.  The power outlets inside the capitol provide ?clean? power and are protected from surges.  In other locations, a surge suppressor may be used to protect against power differentials. 

Notebook computers should not be left unattended in unsecured locations.
