The Arizona Legislative Council is providing you with a laptop computer with preloaded software for use in conducting the official business of your legislative office.  This agreement governing its use must be signed by you.  Your signature acknowledges receipt of the laptop and your agreement to abide by the policies and procedures described in this agreement.
 
 

1. Any duplication of licensed software, except for backup and archival purposes, is a violation of the software license and of federal law.  The software programs provided by Legislative Computer Services, such as WordPerfect, may not be installed on any other computer.

2. If you own or purchase software that you want to use on the laptop, you should request the LCS staff to install the software.  Failure to properly configure your software to coordinate with the software supplied by LCS may result in the laptop not functioning properly.  LCS will install only properly licensed software.

3. LCS staff will periodically review the software installed on the computer in order to maintain and upgrade the system.
