Health Care Issues and Economics Uwe Reinhardt is recognized as one of the United States' leading authorities on the economics of health care. Dr. Reinhardt is the James Madison Professor of Political Economy and Professor of Economics at Princeton University. He received a Ph.D. in economics from Yale in 1970. He has received an honorary degree of Dr. Sci. from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and an honorary degree of Dr. Sci. from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine CUNY, 1994.
