2001 Wireless Telecommunications Enacted Legislation

Technology is steadily inching towards wireless communications, and state legislatures are taking notice. As of July 2001, at least 20 states passed legislation encompassing the relatively new area of "wireless," ranging from inclusion of 911 services for wireless devices to taxation of various wireless services.
