Arizona H.B. 2116 Signed by Governor, Chapter No. 109. Relates to identity theft; relates to criminal possession of a forgery device, scanner, or re- encoder; defines entity identifying information if the entity is a person other than a human being; includes entity's credit card number, employer identification number, account number or electronic serial number, tax identification number, citizenship status, employment information, alien identification number or DNA genetic information.
California S.B. 1506 Signed by Governor, Chaptered by Secretary of State. Chapter No. 617, Criminalizes a person who is located in the State, who knows that a particular recording or audiovisual work is commercial, to knowingly electronically disseminate all or substantially all of that commercial recording or audiovisual work to more than 10 other people without disclosing his or her e-mail address, and the title of the recording or audiovisual work. Defines electronic dissemination. Provides for forfeiture and fines and exceptions.
Colorado H.B. 1266 Session Law Chaptered. Chapter No. 204 Criminalizes knowingly taking a picture of another person without the person's knowledge and consent, while the person is not in plain view, and under circumstances where the person has a reasonable expectation of privacy; defines photograph to include a photograph, motion picture, videotape, print, negative, slide or other mechanically, electronically, digitally or chemically reproduced visual material.
Florida S.B. 1072 Filed as Chapter No. Addresses identity theft and Internet fraud prevention.
Illinois S.B. 2858 Public Act No. 93-1016 Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. Applies to agreements under which an Internet service provider provides service to Illinois consumers for a one-year term that is automatically renewed for another one-year term unless a consumer cancels the service. Requires an Internet service provider to give a consumer a secure web site to cancel the service without need of a telephone call or mail.
Maryland H.B. 194 Chapter No. 157 Criminalizes using an Internet auction listing service or an interactive computer service with the intent to defraud an individual of property, services, or anything of value; provides jurisdiction for prosecution of the crime; requiring a person who provides the Internet auction listing service to collect specified identification information and make the information available to users who allege fraud or deception in an auction transaction.
Ohio S.B. 146 Session Law No. 106 Increases disrupting public service to prohibit the use of a computer, another specified type of device or the Internet so as to disrupt, interrupt, or impair any police, fire, educational, commercial, or governmental function; expands criminal mischief to specifically include certain conduct related to computer hacking or the introduction of a computer contaminant; increases the penalty for unauthorized use of computer, cable, or telecommunication property.
Oklahoma H.B. 1603 Relates to computer crimes and authorizes certain investigations. Institutes authority for subpoena of certain items; provides for examination of certain items; grants exception; provides for witness fees; establishes penalty; provides for codification; provides an effective date.
Oklahoma S.B. 1394 Chapter No. 547 Relates to criminal procedure; creates the Criminal Justice Computer Assistance Act. Directs the Oklahoma Criminal Justice Resource Center to administer certain system; names certain system; states purposes; directs development of certain procedures; construes participation by certain agencies; provides for codification; provides an effective date; declares an emergency.
Pennsylvania S.B. 152 Act No. 14-2004 Creates the Uniform Trade Secrets Act. Further provides for the offense of theft of trade secrets, including theft of a customer list. Establishes provisions regarding malicious access of any computer, computer network, or computer system with intent to obtain unlawful possession of, or access to, an article representing a trade secret.
Pennsylvania S.B. 705 Act No. 202-2004, Amends the Crimes and Offenses Code. Provides for deceptive or fraudulent business practices. Prohibits false Internet privacy statements, among other things.
Texas H.B. 56 Chapter No. 470 Prohibits a person from knowingly accessing a computer, computer network, computer program, computer software, or computer system that is a part of a voting system that uses direct recording electronic voting machines in order to prevent a person from lawfully casting a vote, changing a lawfully cast vote, preventing a lawfully cast vote from being counted, or causing a vote that was not lawfully cast to be counted.

Virginia H.B. 1330 Chapter No. 638 Requires the director of every department in the executive branch of state government to report to the Chief Information Officer all incidents that threaten the security of the Commonwealth's databases and data communications, including computer viruses and worms, denial of service attacks, unauthorized uses and intrusions, and such other security threats.
