BIOGRAPHIES
Carmen Catizone is the Executive Director of the National Association
of Boards of Pharmacy, (NABP), based in Illinois.
NABP represents the state agencies or boards in almost all 50 states that are
responsible for establishing and enforcing standards of practice for retail
pharmacies and the pharmacists and other employees. Their annual
publication "Survey of Pharmacy Laws", is a standard reference of requirements
for in-state and inter-state pharmacies. NABP also pioneered the VIPPS
program nationwide, aimed at safety and standardized practices for internet
pharmacy activities.
Kevin N. Nicholson is Director of Pharmacy Regulatory Affairs for the
National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS). At NACDS, his
main responsibilities include pharmacy practice and operations issues. He
provides technical review and analysis of regulatory and legislative issues
impacting pharmacy practice. He has over fifteen years experience in the
pharmacy industry, including six years as a practicing community
pharmacist. His other experience includes product management with NDC
Health, and corporate compliance with WebMD Corporation.
Sarah Reznek is NAAG’s Consumer Protection and Telemarketing Fraud
Enforcement Project Director and Chief Counsel. Ms. Reznek served as an
attorney with the Federal Trade Commission’s Division of Marketing Practices
where she conducted and supervised the litigation of deceptive marketing cases
before federal district courts. Prior to that, Ms. Reznek served as
a Lecturer in Law at the National Law Center, a
clerk for Judge Julia Cooper Mack of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals,
and as a prosecutor in the District of Columbia. In 2002,
Ms. Reznek received the NAAG staff award, presented in recognition of
outstanding contributions to Attorneys General and NAAG. She earned a B.A. from
Northwestern University and a law degree with honors,
from the National Law Center of The George Washington University.
