
NLSSA 2008 Annual Training Conference September 21-25, 2008 Concord, New Hampshire
Registration Information
Registration Fees for the NLSSA Annual Training Conference are:
$250 Legislative staff and government- (Provides admission to all training, scheduled meals, and social events.)
$275 Private Sector- (Provides admission to all training, scheduled meals and social events.)
$115 Spouse/guest/NLSSA life member*- (Includes admission to all scheduled meals and evening social events. It must be paid in full at the time of registration. The host state also offers some activities for spouses.)
*Life members are retired NLSSA members who have been granted life membership by the NLSSA executive board.

Registration online requires a credit card for everyone except legislators and legislative staff. If you would prefer to mail in your registration you can access a printer friendly registration for here:
Onsite Registration. If you are unable to meet the September 10, 2007, registration deadline, please register onsite at the Holiday Inn Concord.
Spouse/Guest Registration. The $115 fee includes admission to all scheduled meal functions and evening social events. It must be paid in full at the time of registration. The guest program agenda is available at (coming soon).
Cancellation/Refund Policy. All cancellations must be made in writing and may be faxed to (303) 364-7811, or emailed to Brenda.parker@ncsl.org. Cancellations received in the NCSL Denver office by September 14, 2008, will be refunded, minus a $50 processing fee. Please allow four to six weeks for refund processing. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled after the conference begins.
Substitutions. Substitutions require an additional processing fee of $25. To make a substitution, you must a) submit a written notice of cancellation indicating a request to transfer payment; and b) submit a new registration form. No onsite substitutions are allowed.
Hotel Reservations
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Concord, 172 North Main Street, Concord, NH 03301, (603) 224-9534. Please call the hotel directly to make reservations. Refer to code "NCSL" to receive the contracted room rate of $115 single/doubletriple ($125 triple). The deadline for making hotel reservations is Monday, September 1, 2008. After that date, room requests will be accepted on a space-available basis at the conference rates.
Airport Transportation
The Holiday Inn Concord does not provide transportation to and from the hotel. To arrange for a pick up you may contact any of the following shuttle/taxis carriers: A&W Airport Service (603) 235-2720, All American Airport Service (603) 765-7791, Hampton Shuttles, Inc. Travel Information
Make your reservations through Andavo Travel, NCLS's official travel headquarters. Discounts are available when booking cars and airfare through Andavo. Airline reservations should be made at least seven days in advance. Call (800) 825-3283.
General Information
The NLSSA Fall Training Conference is a relaxed learning experience; business casual attire is recommended for most events. NLSSA members like to dress up for the State Dinner; attire for that event is semi-formal and varies from cocktail to evening wear. Fall temperatures average a high of 72° and low of 47°.
