One Party Control of State Government after 2001 Elections

 

After factoring in the results of the 2001 elections these are states where either the Democrats or Republicans will control both chambers of the legislature and the governor in 2002. The parties have divided control in the other 30 states including Nebraska where the legislature is elected on a nonpartisan basis.
