The meeting was called to order by Committee Co-Chair Kirsten Waid.

The minutes from the Fall Meeting in Austin, Texas, September 24, 2006 were approved.

Brenda Erickson distributed a survey response handout (as of 3/27/07) and updated the group on how the survey responses were going.  After repeated contacts, there was still no response from the New York house.  Kirsten will be contacting the Rhode Island senate once more.  If these two houses respond we will meet the 100% response rate goal.  Once all data has been returned, Brenda will check and double check the data and send a draft of the document to all of the committee members for review and possible changes before the August meeting.  She will forward any changes from committee members to the editor to be incorporated into the document.  The final version of the document will be published electronically.  Brenda reminded the group that process changes should be pure to the year of the evaluation.

Having the option of an online survey was brought up, Brenda will look into the possibilities.

Possible topics mentioned for upcoming surveys were:  ethics, impeachment rules, and constitutional amendments.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

Respectfully submitted,
Polly Emerson, TX, Vice-Chair
