The summer meeting of the Inside the Legislative Process Committee was called to order at 1:30 p.m. by Chair Clift. Members present were:

The 2002-2003 Survey has been published, printed and sent to all principals and legislative librarians.
The 2004-2005 Survey was compiled by Brenda Erickson and reviewed and edited by the ILP Committee in May 2004. Brenda incorporated all the suggested changes and additions made by committee members in the final draft of the survey. The 04-05 Survey was sent to all legislative chambers in June 2004. Currently, 43 chambers have responded. Committee members present in Salt Lake City divided up the remaining chambers for follow up purposes. Brenda will be sending out one more reminder and survey to those chambers that have yet to respond. Beginning the third week of August, committee members will be contacting their assigned states to request their participation and return of the survey by the ASLCS fall meeting in Baltimore. Also available to those committee members assigned state contacts and upon their request, Brenda Erickson will forward and e-copy to any state wanting an electronic format.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 1:50 p.m.
