Legal Services Staff Section Professional Development Seminar
Columbus, Ohio September 10-13, 2008
The Legal Services Staff Section Professional Development Seminar is the only national training event designed exclusively for legislative attorneys and drafters. The seminar offers drafters the opportunity to hone their skills at analyzing proposed legislation from the point of view of all of the stakeholders and solving problems that may arise during the drafting process. Sessions on pressing issues facing state governments will give legislative attorneys valuable information to take back to their legislatures. This two and a half day seminar provides an opportunity for staff to sharpen their skills while sharing ideas with peers from other states. However, anyone who sees relevant training possibilities in the agenda is welcome to attend.
