"New Medicare Provisions & Safety Net Providers"

The Medicare Modernization Act (MMA) of 2003 includes many new provisions, including new Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage to begin on January 1, 2006. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has the lead on implementing these new provisions - HRSA is making information available regarding these new provisions for our grantees and safety-net providers.
