On December 7th, 2005, the Forum for State Health Policy Leadership convened a half-day conference in Chicago, IL.:  Promoting Children’s Mental Health.  State lawmakers and legislative staff gathered to discuss how state legislators can promote children’s healthy mental development in their states, and what programs work to treat children with emotional disturbances.  Presentation topics included financing strategies for public children’s mental health services, evidence-based treatments, mental health promotion in schools and teen suicide prevention.  Below please find links to the slides from the meeting sessions:
