This is the Web site for the Department of Health and Human Service's National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information, operated by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. This site contains abstracts for thousands of research articles and reports and annotated bibliographies on specific drugs, treatment and prevention, and research on addiction issues for groups of people. -about state alcohol and drug abuse prevention and treatment programs, contact the National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors at (202) 293-0090 or www.nasadad.org.
