National Association of State Drug and Alcohol Abuse Directors (NASADAD)
The National Association of State Drug and Alcohol Abuse Directors (NASADAD) is a not-for-profit educational, scientific and informational organization serving those in state agencies tasked with drug and alcohol abuse services.

National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI)
A service of SAMHSA, the National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI) offers a clearinghouse of resources on substance abuse prevention and treatment.

National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD)
The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence fights the stigma and the disease of alcoholism and other drug addictions.

National Families in Action (NFIA)
National Families in Action was founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 1977. Its mission is to help families and communities prevent drug use among children by promoting policies based on science.

National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA)
NIAAA provides leadership in the national effort to reduce alcohol-related problems by conducting and supporting research in a wide range of scientific areas including genetics, neuroscience, epidemiology, health risks and benefits of alcohol consumption, prevention, and treatment.

National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)
The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), part of the National Institutes of Health, supports and conducts research to improve drug abuse and addiction prevention, treatment, and policy.

State Associations of Addiction Services (SAAS) 
Founded in 1987, SAAS is a nonprofit organization whose membership consists of state substance abuse prevention and treatment associations.  The state associations offer a range of education, training, advocacy, information dissemination, and technology transfer services for their members, who are community-based service providers. 

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
SAMHSA is the federal agency charged with improving the quality and availability of prevention, treatment, and rehabilitative services in order to reduce illness, death, disability and cost to society resulting from substance abuse and mental illnesses.

Substance Abuse Policy Research Program (SAPRP)
The mission of the Substance Abuse Policy Research Program (SAPRP) is to fund substance abuse policy research that can help reduce the harm caused by the use of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs in the United States.

Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities (TASC)
TASC is a not-for-profit organization that provides behavioral health recovery management services for individuals with substance abuse and mental health disorders.
