Henrick Harwood

Henrick Harwood joined The Lewin Group in March, 1992, and now is a Vice President at the firm. Previously, he served as Assistant Deputy Director for Treatment and Workplace Policy (Acting), and as Senior Policy Analyst, in the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), Executive Office of the President.  Mr. Harwood was also on staff at the Institute of Medicine (IOM).  He has over 20 years experience examining the economic costs of alcohol and drug abuse and analyzing the effectiveness and financing of treatment programs.

Mr. Harwood has provided consultation and expert advice to Center on Mental Health Services; National Institute on Mental Health; Center on Substance Abuse Treatment; Center on Substance Abuse Prevention; National Institute on Drug Abuse; National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism; General Accounting Office of U.S. Congress; Staff of the U.S. Congress; and testimony before the U.S. Senate.
