Dawn Lambert's Bio

Dawn currently serves as a policy analyst for the Connect to Work Center in the Bureau of Rehabilitation, Department of Social services, with primary focus on Medicaid systems change initiatives. In addition, she has administrative oversight responsibilities for Independent Living Services, the Assistive Technology Project, and the Nursing Facility Transition Program. Prior to employment with the State of Connecticut, she served for seven years as the Executive Director of the Connecticut Association of Centers for Independent Living and the Director of the State Independent Living Council. She was Project Director of the CMS Nursing Facility Transition Grant and administrator of the Olmstead Coalition. In 2001, she served as Principal Consultant to the Office of Policy and Management regarding long-term care systems change initiatives consistent with advancing community based care.
