The "Utah Tomorrow Strategic Planning Committee," which includes legislators, executive and judicial branch personnel and members of the public, advises on state strategic planning. The legislature has required performance budgets from a limited number of agencies or programs. For the 2001 legislative session these will include the Division of Wildlife Resources. Manual/Instructions:Performance Measurement in the Public Sector Strategic Plans: Utah Tomorrow Strategic Plan Performance Measures: Statutes set performance reporting requirements for certain state agencies, but there is no requirement for agency performance reporting across the board. The report discusses the significance of the measures. The Department of Human Services has posted "DHS Outcomes" for 1998. The 1999 version is available from the department.
