Overview: The governor's budget instructions for the 2001-2003 biennium emphasize development of agency budget requests within a strategic results-oriented process. The state has implemented a new computerized budget request system to simplify the process and to allow agencies to focus on results, goals, objectives, performance, quality and efficiency.

Performance Measures:

The governor's budget recommendations to the legislature include agency vision and mission statements, goals, program objectives and in some cases performance measures. This site is the proposed budget for the 1999-2001 biennium.
