Fiscal Affairs ProgramGoverning for ResultsNebraskaLinks active October 4, 2000 Overview: The governor's budget instructions for the 2001-2003 biennium emphasize development of agency budget requests within a strategic results-oriented process. The state has implemented a new computerized budget request system to simplify the process and to allow agencies to focus on results, goals, objectives, performance, quality and efficiency. Agencies and programs:Legislative Fiscal Office Department of Administrative Services, Budget Division Manual/Instructions:Instructions for 2001-2003 biennium budget requests Performance Measures:The governor's budget recommendations to the legislature include agency vision and mission statements, goals, program objectives and in some cases performance measures. This site is the proposed budget for the 1999-2001 biennium. In addition, individual agency budget request submissions may include additional performance measures and other related information too lengthy for publication.
